 Lake Host Grant awarded for $2650 to KLA plus $2500 from KCC budget.

Betty Wright. Need to reach out to Rich St. Hilaire to remind him about weekly

emptying of port a potty. Muriel brought in the Carry In Carry Out signs for the

boat launch/ramp. Jim Edwards has volunteered to put them out. One will also go

at the State Park near the dog waste receptacle.

 Aquifer Protection signage- view sample. There were no samples available at this

time. Jim asked if there were currently signs posted that we could copy instead of

trying to come up with a new design. Muriel trails division is designing a sign.

 Reid – Camp Lincoln working with Forrest Bell. Hope KLA can be included.

Idea – involve Solitude Lake Management with Peter Beisler for a comprehensive

lake study with goal setting at the end. Grant money to pay for assessment. Grant

money has to come through the town not individuals and not the Lake

Association. Forest could represent the town to submit the grant application and

would work with the town. Reid, Muriel and Forest will go before the Selectmen

at the meeting Monday, May 2nd at 7:00pm. The grant money is loan forgiveness.

A warrant article would need to created and approved.
