Lake Host Program Update 2023 – 2024 – Kingston Lake Association

In the summer 2023, Lake Hosts performed 2,208
boat inspections at the State and Town ramps. Money for
this program comes from a grant funded by the State of NH and
our local taxes in Kingston. 2024 will be our 17th season with
the Lake Host Program.

Leigh Komornick will be returning again this year as the KLA program coordinator for the
Lake Host Program. Anyone interested in becoming a paid or a volunteer lake host can contact Leigh at lgkski@aol.com. Volunteers help earn money for our local ramps and are greatly appreciated.

Donations are also appreciated, of course! Contact Leigh for the best way to contribute to be sure our location will be tagged in your payment. There is also much information on the NHLakes.org/lake-host pages for you about the program and all it offers.

Upcoming Events 2024

Our monthly meetings continue!
We invite you to join us the last Wednesday of the month at the Kingston Community Library at 7:00.

May 18, 2024 -State Park Clean Up, 9-12. Volunteers will be cleaning up the park with rakes, tarps, tractors, truck. All are welcome! If you can stop by and offer some help it would be appreciated. Bring your tools and join in.

May 19, 2024 Dedication of the Life Jacket Station at the State Ramp.

June 8, 2024 – A biologist from the Loon Preservation Committee will paddle around the lake with KLA members. Public is invited.

June 26, 2024 – Annual Membership Meeting.
Refreshments 7-7:30 followed by a 45 minute presentation about the result of the Grant and give an overview of the Watershed Management Plan. There will be time for your questions after.

Lake Host Program starts the weekend of July 4th and runs through Labor Day weekend.
