2025 VLAP Water Sampling Report

The Volunteer Lake Assessment Program (VLAP) is a statewide citizen-science program that trains volunteers to monitor water quality in New Hampshire’s lakes and ponds. By collecting long-term data on clarity, nutrients, algae, and other indicators, VLAP helps communities and state agencies detect changes in lake health, identify pollution threats early, and guide actions that protect the ecological, recreational, and drinking water value of New Hampshire’s Great Ponds for future generations.
