2026 NH Lakes Congress
Kingston Lake Association Joins Local Lake Partners at NH Lakes Congress
Representatives from Kingston’s lake and watershed organizations attended the NH Lakes Congress on Friday in Concord, continuing local efforts to protect and improve the quality of Kingston’s lakes and ponds.
The Kingston Lake Association was represented at the conference along with the Kingston Watershed Management Plan Committee. Also attending were representatives from Kingston’s other lake organizations, including the Powwow Pond Council and the Country Pond Lake Association.
The conference provided an opportunity to learn about lake protection, water quality monitoring, invasive species prevention, watershed management, and community engagement strategies being used across New Hampshire. Just as importantly, it brought Kingston’s lake organizations together around a shared goal: protecting the health, beauty, and recreational value of our local waters.
This coordinated participation demonstrates the strong cooperation among Kingston’s lake groups and the Town’s watershed planning efforts. By sharing information, learning from statewide experts, and working together, Kingston is better positioned to address common challenges such as stormwater runoff, septic system impacts, shoreline protection, and long-term lake health.
The Kingston Lake Association is proud to be part of this collaborative effort and looks forward to continuing to work with the Kingston Watershed Management Plan Committee, Powwow Pond Council, Country Pond Lake Association, and community partners to protect Kingston’s treasured water resources for future generations.
